Sold the Sparker Special

I ended up selling my 2008 Electra Sparker Special yesterday.

We've had a blitz of doctor and dental bills and we also had to have a new AC unit installed in our house last week....cha ching! :shock:

I loved the bike's look and comfort, but for some reason I've grown partial to riding bikes with freewheel set ups. With all of my other bikes having a freewheel I find myself inadvertently slamming on the brakes when riding a coaster brake set up. Something about being able to spin backwards while coasting along makes me feel good, ha ha.

So, it was fun while it lasted...goodbye old friend!

Well, if it's like any other bike that I own it seems like my interest is short lived.

Thankfully for my wife I'm not one to keep every bike I ever come across.

Having them for a bit until I get used them and then selling them is a gratifying experience for me for some reason.

Who knows though...the KOS may end up being "THE BIKE" for me. :lol:

I know what you mean. I have sold 2 bikes in the last week and have another for sale. I have one or two that will probably stay. But the stable is complete with the addition of a MTB.
