Some advice from the 50's bike guru's please(see picture)

A good friend came up with this bike and called me,hes not a bike guy but says its a 1957 hiawatha.I havent seen it in person but it looks to be in fair shape.He'd like to get 200.00 for it,is it worth it? I get a little dumb outside of schwinn territory and would really appreciate some help.

Looks more like a 1953. If someone offered it to me for $200 I wouldn't hesistate. Only things missing are chainguard, light, grips and corrrect seat. Chain appears to be apart but there.

I'd pull the trigger @ $200. Hard to beat a tank bike with a springer and fat fenders

Do a little haggling maybe get him down to 175 and buy it, 200 is a good deal though.

Its a 50-54 with that fork. Springer and tank alone are worth the $200. I would grab it, looks pretty complete
