It's been a few weeks since I had any time to fiddle with my projects but today I managed to catch up on loads of bits that needed doing so I thought I would post the results.

Green mtb is waiting on a proper single speed conversion but for now the ghetto conversion works just fine. Cost me a tenner off a posh guy in a nearby village, his driveway was longer than my street. Tyres cost more than the rest of the bike combined.

The nasty gold frame is an elswick whirlwind from 71. Managed to track down an elswick crankset with the seahorse logo and put the rest together with bits lying around. Bunged a 14t single speed on the back, I'm happy enough without the original 6 speed. I am undecided on bars though, period correct drop bars or straight bars?

The rudge is my favourite, I bought the frame for the patina and distress and built the bike around it. Most parts come from a donor Raleigh traveller from 78 or the original rudge, except the front end which is obviously new and needs grubbying up a bit.
Lots to do here, I put together a rectifier to get a DC circuit from the dynohub to power LEDs and a battery charger but I need a more elegant method of mounting and wiring to call it done. Also the original rudge would have come with rod brakes so there are no cable lugs, cable ties do the job but I'm sure I can manage something a bit classier.
Managed to get the rear hub and gears running lovely with a clean and grease but I am thinking of dropping a tooth or two to shift the gears a bit.

Any feedback, tips or ideas are more than welcome,
Dimples
