A few new bikes for me.....yes I'm happy  They both need a good detail but will remain original.

The Firebolt is all original except for the tires.....I'm sure Kenda knobbies weren't original  Even the light lense is still there! I did score a very nice set of original Uniroyal chains for it though. The Firebolt was a nice craigslist find.......only the second bike I've bought from Craigslist. Between Nate and the Cincy boys, it's darn near impossible to find the good stuff on CL around here

The Elgin is one of Nate's CL finds and hung in a restaurant for 30 years or so. It's going to clean up very nicely.....I think I can still smell the hamburgers in the dust on this thing :D

It looks like you have already started to clean the elgin. Im glad it went to a good Home. :D

Great scores  If you ever get rid of the tank on the Firebolt, LET ME KNOW  That's the only thing I'm missing on my all original 62 Firebolt  Oh yeah, on mine the pedals aren't original  But they are nice :p

seems the tank and/or the guard is always missing on the Firebolts, and you got both!!!
RIGHT ON!!!!    8)

nice scores, good for you! On a seperate note, I received my little "time capsule" (package) from you yesterday. NICE! Thanks. I left feedback(positive) for you.

Nate.....just threw a few vintage parts at it. I'm going to take it all the way apart and clean, polish and lube it up. Can't wait to get the bacon grease off of it!

Thanks guys...I've admired the Firebolts also. If I decide to sell it, it will be in one piece. I was second in line to look at it. The first guy was a no show......gotta love Craigslist
