I call this one Cream Soda...I'll have to dig out "Root Beer" pretty soon ('86 Brown High Sierra)...these are fun bikes to ride!
Both are totally stock...down to the GIANT sticker from the factory on the drive side chain stay

93 catalog (sorry, didn't download the 94 for some reason) shows Equipe wearing a Quadra by Rockshox. Axle to crown measures at 420 mm, so with a little compression, 400 mm to about 410 mm seems reasonable as a substitute

@ChaOs I'm not sure what the measurements are on the Surly fork I have on it, it was on the bike when I bought it.
If it's not too buried I can try to check it out maybe this weekend if still needed

I have a Giant Box Crown or how they are called that could fit....

I have been meaning to start a thread with my bikes.
Starting it off with my 1950 Panther, built frame up with parts in the shop...(minus the tires)

I bought from a Gentleman in a VERY well to do neighborhood by me.
It was his bike for his paper route when he was a kid-
