sorry some of these pics are'nt very good.
first is my 63 meteor flite, i just recently finished in a dark blue and almond.

this is my 60 something huffy(i think corvair) the original headlight got lost when i was moveing last year but i think it looks good this way.

i have other bikes but they'r not here and i can't find any pics of them, i'll put them up later.
so tell me what ya think.

That Meteor is the bomb. Like how you painted the headlamp housing to match the tank. I did the same on this bike a few years ago, not wanting to pay the stupid money the plastic plater wanted to rechrome it. I think it adds a nice "flow" to the tank & light set up.

Here's my '64 Western Flyer with a similar tank light set up...still in its original "patina".

that western flyer looks exactly like my murray. is there a reason for that? also i'm looking for an original fender for the murray if anyone has one laying around, it's the one with the little plane looking crest on it.

Murray built a LOT more bikes for Sears, Western Auto, etc, in the 60s than their own. ~Adam

sweet rides!! love the color scheme of the first one, and that second bike is nice and ratty. there again, has me wanting to redo the wheels on my 63 jc higgins, which is allready balck with white walls, to repaint its rims red for that whitewall/redrim look.

and RZ94 is right, murray made bikes for both companies.
