Some of my recent finds - 3 new bikes 7/6

Heres some bikes I've picked up over the last month or so.

The first 3, I saw a craigslist ad for 3 bikes by the curb, it was 2 days old but went for it anyways since it was in a court. This was last night, found these 3 in the garbage. They were described as poor condition.

The Kent looks SPARKLY! Cleaned up nice........looks better with the BW.

The Kent looks SPARKLY! Cleaned up nice........looks better with the BW.

I agree! The old tires literally crumbled in my hands as I took them off haha.

Just picked up this CCM, my first ever, out of the trash along with a mountain bike. I'm guessing 70's, I was leaning towards 76 but its Canadian so who knows. The bike is very lightweight, only thing I can see wrong is it needs new tires and the top part of the rear shifter is missing. Any guess on value w/ new tires and clean up?

Ladies bikes are good... :wink: I always part them out :lol: I would kill to have that yellow Elgin or little Murray. The little Murray is pretty neat... and I need a dropstand like the one on your Elgin lady. And i could use a skip tooth setup and some nice step rims...

Got 3 today, blue one traded from a scrap guy, the other two were in the garbage. Check out the mountain bike... see anything weird, its in 2 pieces! We stripped it in ten minutes and threw the frame(s) to the curb haha, all the parts looked new.

Heres where I need help, what is a F.S. Elite? Has Weinmann rims, shimano gears. strange looking frame, cool aluminum suspension fork, anyone know what the thing on the bars is? I'm not sure if I like it yet, but I think I'm going to build it into a daily rider.

3rd bike was just a girls 20"
