(somebody is unhappy...) no doubt!
jealous or just doesn't get it the way we do. he could be into say, collecting antique coffie table doilies and be willing to pay up to $1000 for just that right one thats sets his coffie table off perfectly. to us, its just an old doilie, but to him obviously much, much more. to each their own, and its the centimental value or just the appreciation for something from a specific era or design.

Interesting game plan, for some reason I don't see it working though. On the other hand if anyone has a bowden for sale in the range of $20-$40 let me know, "It's just and old bike" after all

what u mean my mint yellow 1977 varsity is not worth 1,000 dollars? shoot i thought it was a good deal when i bout it for 700 bucks

It really gets me when people see my bikes and offer me 50 bux for them. To them its just a bike, to me they have a meaning, time, effort and more money than 50 bux put in them. I dont build my bikes to sell them, they are for me. But if the right price is offered, hmmmmmm?????

Amen! Now if I could just convince the wife the same thing, life would be grand!
