Found this rusty girl while buying another bike so i took em both home. I got this 1962 Rollfast a class 2 bike not originally a muscle bike but I'm gonna see what muscle i can put on it. This bike didnt want to come apart. After a can of PB Blast and a very large hammer she finally let go. Now for some sandblaster action. Well got the sanding all done and primer is on the parts and all the dents banged outa the tank. The parts are back from paint now, the guy I'm building this for wanted sparkley orange. The paint turned out great it's hard to tell how nice the paint is in the pics. My camera isn't very good. I ordered a headbadge for another build and they gave me several to choose from. One was the Southern Star. So thats what we named it. And had decals made. I like putting wood pieces on my bikes if I can. So i found this piece of quilted maple. I stained it with jet black stain. It turned this cool color purple. I dig it. So the process is speedin up. Makin bullet shell casings valve caps. And now adding some little details to add to the cool factor. So I've added some lights we put some in the small tank and 3 motorcycle turn signals for brake lights. So thats about it. Sorry for not knowing how to make my thread more story like. But i hope u enjoyed the build.
