Does anyone know of a bike that has bearing cups that would fit a spaceliner's head tube? All of the ones I've tested so far are too small. I have well over 100 parts bikes but I don't know if any of them have cups that will fit a Spaceliner frame to allow Schwinn forks, mountain bike forks, etc. (a non Spaceliner or Flightliner fork). Do some BMX bikes actually work being that their head tube steel diameter is probably a bit thicker, closing the extra diameter space in the event of putting their bearing cups in a Spaceliner head tube?
EDIT > Finally found some! After ripping the bearing cups off of 5 parts bike, I finally found some that fit. They came off of a ~15 year old Univega mountain bike with front suspension.
My tip to anyone encountering the Spaceliner & Flightliner headset issue is if you have any front suspension mountain bikes lying around, there is a good chance that the bearing cups from it will work to allow larger bearings for previously incompatible forks.
