Fresh build, 1964 Spaceliner. I picked this up last summer. This is how I got him...
First mockup... This is inspired by Pick's green one. I like the 24" rear wheel and phat tire on the back. The tire is a 24"x3" Duro Fireball. Like Pick's, it wont fit in the frame.
I was planning on just cleaning up the frame and clear coat it Mc Ratty Rat Rat style. I scrounged up a rat trap springer and a 3 red band hub, they are on their way... I fabed up dropout extensions last weekend. I'm experimenting with flame painting, burnt steele,. I'm amazed at the patina I got on the dropouts. It's kind of hard to see in the photo, but Man is it cool!!!!
I'm thinking I'll try the same thing on the tank and rack panel. What do ya think?!?!?
