So I decided to toss the dice. I went back to my stash and found a few crusty parts. For the bottom spacer I now have the drive gear off of a generator light. For the top spacer I have an old light that I cut down. I am not sure this will stay this way, I am going to keep looking but it is way better than the dice. Thanks

I’ve been trying to figure out what to do with these Dungeons and Dragons dice I found. I think they may end up as valve caps.

Kingfish, I like the dice idea too, It is just not the direction I wanted to go with this project. Ulu I have made valve caps from dice, but D/D dice would look great. This build is back on the back burner for now (life). I will get back to it. Hope you are all having fun building your funky stuff.

i finally got some more work done. I got the skip tooth set up together. I had to modify a chain breaker by grinding the block and pin, but it worked. I also played with another seat, I am not sure about it. It dose sit lower.

The truth is that that tight link lump on my chain breaking tool is really in the way most of the time, and you don’t need that at all to loosen a tight link if you know what to do.

I came within inches of buying a skip tooth bicycle on Tuesday so I would’ve been in the same situation. The bike was unfortunately sold before I got to it

I am back at it, all though I am not sure for how long. The skip tooth chain break worked well and will be good for future use. Here is where the build is at. I have decided on the seat, handle bars, grips and pedals. It is all put together and rides well. Everything needs final grease and finishing. This build has been assembled with parts and pieces in stock. Here it is as it now sits. Have fun out there.
