So I admit it...I'm a child of the '70's and I bought into the whole Bicentennial thing. My first bike was bought a year or so before the Bicentennial and of course had to be red, white and blue and it was the exact same model as this, but w/ a blue seat and a white chain guard.
I loved that bike and rode it into the ground. Aaahh, good times!
That's why, when I decided to build an adult size banana seat bike, I went for the whole "4th of July" gig.
The frame and forks were from a Cranbrook that I had played around w/ as a klunker but never really liked the stance.
So finally I order a new seat, handlebars, sissy bar, tires and grips. I then repainted the chain guard into a more...uhemm, colorful theme 8)
Now,if I could just find a parade to ride in... 8)
