So I bought this Dyno from a guy on C.L. for $140.00 in ok shape but with a crap hammer tone paint job. I knew I wanted to tear it down and paint it but I needed to do few things before I did that. This is how I bought it...
First thing...I hate coaster brakes. So I started digging around the net and finally found the pieces to throw a disk brake setup on it. 180mm rotor, Avid BB7 caliper and lever, rotor flanged freewheel hub from Choppers US and a 22t free wheel. Had it laced and it's good to go. I made the braket and had a buddy TIG weld it and it works perfect. I realize the caliper is non adjustable but I can get it the chain adjusted and still keep the pads on the rotor. I ran the cable through the small tube on the frame so it's nice and clean.
Just pulled it apart to send out to the sand blaster and forks to the chrome shop.
The parts....H.B. seat with red stitching, RedLine Monster cranks and a profile sprocket, Lizard Skin grips and some other junk...
After I get it back from the blaster it's going to my buddies shop for a base/clear silver with some old school red and black pins. Should be a cool little cruiser when it's done. More Pics to come.
