Had such a good time again this year at the Montreal island tour at night with friends, bbq ,drink, music and customs rides.

Some real outside the box solutions here. I love the simplicity of the tensioner and reversing the hub like that is pretty ingenious too. re the 2 speeds, did you rebuild the hub after welding to it? It's possible that you have gummed up oil from the heat jamming the pawls.

no i havent opened it , it was only tack welds and nothing binds up , spinning free like new . its really the shifter or me setting it . i just havent mess with it enough
