The main thing I wanted to tackle today was to finish securing the Holey Higgins Rack to the bike and do some necessary grinding, filing, and shaping of the Holey area to lessen the chance of it slicing the sidewalls of the Thick Slicks.

Once I got it secured I pulled it off for the grinding. You can see it was a jagged little pill on both sides of the wheel.

I was able to get it this far with the bench grinder.

Also needed to remove what was left from the rear reflectors.

Then did a little file work to clean up the Holey section a little more.

Then I mounted the JetFlow Booster Pack!!!!

Got everything mounted back together and I really like it. Put some air in the tires and went on a two hour ride.

Jet Flow Booster Pack!!?? That’s sweet! Actually, I really like this bike, colors and all. If it was me ( which it’s not ), I wouldn’t even paint it. It’s super cool the way it is. But I’m not good at painting either, and I know from past BO bikes that you are, so I know it will probably be even cooler... maybe.

The various parts and colors do sort work together in a ratty way, but I do plan to paint this one.

At a similar stage last year, some people were saying to keep the various mixes of colors on Western Sizzler, but I think it came out so much better with the bare metal and paint.

They had a different Dude painting at the A.T. Hub Gallery in City Market.

And normally, I never could have taken these pics because Vinnie VanGoGo's pizza joint would have tables in this area. They are only doing takeout and delivery right now. I have always loved this name and logo. Awesome pizza too.

SteamRoller did good on the cobblestones of River Street. Went down to the river and I really like this photo of the World War II monument in the background.

I don't remember if I have ever taken a pic of one of my bikes with our paddle wheel "Steam" boat before.

The tide was pretty low.

Here is the Westin Hotel across the river.

Here is the cobblestone pic that OJ was referring to. This is one of the cobblestone/ballastone ramps that we have that take you down from the bluff of Bay St down to River Street and the River Walk. Like I said earlier, This is a good test of how well you have things bolted together on your bike and SteamRoller did well.

This pic really came out well.
