Hi all,

Been very busy and not done much to my electra rat rod rebuild. Resprayed the wheels and went to fit the bent springer fork but discovered the steering tube isn't really long enough. When i bought it i checked up up and it claimed to have a 7 1/4 length.. no i thought this was fine but seems too short. Ay one got any fitted to Rat road (forward pedal frame)

No one in the Uk seems to do any thing so will need to order a 8 1/2 or just gor for a 10" one from the states.

cheers
Hovis

cut it about 2 inches up from bearing race,
insert same od pipe as id of stem,
mark where you want your stem to stop and trim inserted piece to make sure everything fits,
then mig, tig, stick, braze, or devcon it together......

only cost a couple of bucks while using a gazillion dollars worth of tools and tooling.
