Stick Shift and stems

Hello,
Went to a LBS/used bike parts store in Uptown last weekend
Was looking for a stem for Mag Ray
Found a couple plus this schnazzy Shimano Stick shift 333
Not sure if it's a repop but it fits on a twin top tube frame (which I have quite a few)

Googled it and didn't find what they were on originally on
Got a couple of Sturmey Archer 3 speed hubs and I think it will work on them
Anybody know for sure?

Every time I see one of the short aluminum road bike stems, (especially cheap) I buy them :lol:

They came on Huffys and Hawthornes, probably sears as well
