does anyone have one that they can breakdown on how it's actually assembled? I have a few 3 speed hubs I want to do something with and a 5 speed stingray just waiting for some awesome to happen to it

I just fabbed this one out of some wierd peices of metal I found[img]http://i248.photobucket.com/al...lbums/gg195/holyrollin72/shedone010.jpg[/img]This is still ridden quite often and its held up quite well,the handle is an emergency brake handle off a 38 Chevy as I was told, This was last years build off bike Back Alley Sally.
so basically something that just sets the wire from one position to another?
You cant see it in the first picture as it is on the other side but the ratchet part locks the shifter in place.
I don't know if this is applicable or not, but I think I've seen (on here) three speed suicide type shifters made from a removable MTB handlebar extension and a grip shift- the grip shift was placed on the extension which was bolted to the seat post, directly beneath the seat.
