I just installed a bent springer front on my bike, and it is a little bit wobbly.

Has anyone done anything to stiffen the front?

I'd suggest double checking all of the bolts on the fork.....sometimes they get a bit loose.....maybe you'll get lucky there.

what Texas said!!!

I actually put washers...and a Teflon Nut on The Main support
bar( the one the Fender would mount to ) and it stiffened it up
and got rid of the Wobble / Flop I was having trouble with.

I would say The Washers ( which they didn't come with ) are the
most important. Then you can CRANK it tight without squashing the Fork
Leg.

Having a bit of pre-load on the spring also helps. If the bolts on the fork legs are tight but things still feel a bit sloppy, try tightening the big bolt on the spring. A turn or two can really help eliminate the spongy/sloppy feel.

Thanks guys....I just tightened the bolts way tighter than I thought they should be, and it really stiffened things up. I will have to go get some washers for the sides, but your suggestions worked perfectly.
