Thanks Wildcat and MattiThundrrr. They do face to the rear. The fenders look original but are sort of thin, not what I have seen in other Schwinn balloon tire bikes. The springer fork and the fenders have the same original black paint (or what's left) as the frame. Do y'all think it's a Autocycle? Should it have had a tank? I will get some more pictures after I get the dirt off of it. Thanks!!!

I need a side shot of the bike, from what i see the lower bar is curved so it would be a DX model. Is it a straight lower bar?

My brother found this stash of bikes, frames and parts in South Central Kentucky. He brought 7 bikes, the reproduction Apple Krate frame (still in its factory packing!) along with springer forks, assorted rims, handlebars and seats. Some of this stuff is either NOS or new reproduction. I'm trying to school him on what I would look for so maybe he will go back and pick more goodies. I will try to get pictures tomorrow of some of this haul.

First up is a Schwinn Loop folding 5 speed. I can say it's uhhh...

different!

A purple and pinkish (with flowers) boys(?) Brats lowrider.

A girls Schwinn probably a Slik Chik.

All the 20" rims are Schwinn along with a drop center 16".

Seats, sissy bars, forks and a chain guard.

And, of course, the reproduction Apple Krate!

And the nice chrome springer fork I might be able to use.

Well that's 3 of the bikes, the awesome frame and the parts. 4 more bikes to go!

Nope. This is not at a swap meet. My brother picked almost all of these parts from the "hunny hole" of bike stuff in South Central Kentucky. I think I have talked him into going back 1 more time. (You never know what he might have overlooked.

2 Schwinn Stingray banana seats, 4 springers, 5 racks, NOS Challenger girls tank, 32 or so fenders, NOS Wald chainguard, 3 NOS mirrors, 7 speed Shimano Nexus Schwinn wheel set with Typhoon Cord tires, NOS Harley Davidson Bicycle saddlebags and license plate, 2 Daisy bb guns, boxes of (dried up) Schwinn touch up paint in different colors, maybe 100 fender braces, 2 sets of high rise handlebars, 10 or more NOS Oxford coaster brake arms and a nice saddle with crash bar. A lot of real nice parts! The best part he found, in my opinion, was this antique truing stand! He did a great job picking parts at this place.

Now I have to make room to store all this stuff!

The Christmas Trip load. 2 bikes, 2 frames, 66 fenders, a bunch of wheels, a bunch of nos 26" balloon white walls tires (some out of production) and lots of other cool stuff from my brothers final trip to the bicycle hunny hole in South Central Kentucky. The entire car was full of parts.
