Going to try and bmx this frame. They were both found in the same field. The first frame looks ok. The second frame is donked.

The second one has a freeze crack in the cantilever tubing? That's not a big deal to fix, wire wheel it, hammer it closed drill the ends of the crack and weld it shut.

They're both Schwinn frames. Second digit being a P makes them 1978. First one has a Scrambler sprocket but that's not a scrambler frame. Second one looks like a short frame so could have been a Stingray jr or Tornado.

The black forks are bent. I threw some random bmx parts at the good frame last night. I'm not in love with the result. I could probably be convinced to part with these.

My plan would be to paint this, and put some black gumwall bmx tires, chrome bars & probably chrome coaster wheelset on it. If anyone feels they could give these schwinns a better life, I'm open to trade offers for 24 or 26" frames, anything old & bike related I can hang & look at in my new shop.
