can someone show step by step on how to make street sweeper fenders please
i have schwinn balloon fenders

overlap 2 fenders and mark at the seat stay. Cut the rear fender at the mark. Cut the front 2 inches longer than mark and let it overlap the rear. Use a wire welder and spot weld back and forth underneath til it's welded across. Grind and Bondo if you like. Prime and paint. Fender to axle length struts work best. The cross bar on the seat stay will usually hide the top lap. Hope that helps.

Section the sides of the front piece half an inch and leave a tab in the center to overlap for attachment, with the tab hidden underneath the rear section for easy access to the wheel. Fasten with short sheet metal screw. If you want to get fancy, you can use a sheet metal brake or a vise to fold the tab so the edges meet more perfectly, and spot or JB weld a nut to the underside.
