I decided to use a sweetheart chainwheel my wife got for me a while back.
New crank and bearings are from Smoopy.

This is my 64 Ford F-100. I'd like to get this look for my build off bike so my bike & truck will match.

What primer did you use ? thats what my worksman will use...

I used an automotive etching primer. Duplicolor red oxide rattle can, then I used flat black engine enamel. All rattle can. It covers well and is durable.

I managed to make some progress this weekend. I put in the crank and chainwheel and test fitted the handlebars.
I'll probably change the handlebars, don't care for them.

So I put on the cut down chainguard. I think it will work. Just like the salt flats.

I cut down the handlebars to give the bike more of a tucked and tight look.

I like the look of them on the bike.
