Ok just ordered one of these too. When the
parts get here, should be fun.

Yeah...unfortunately they don't allow motorized vehicles on the beach and then the sand road that runs along the beach is considered a regular road so all vehicles have to be street legal and licensed.

I'm glad they don't. There would be dune buggies and dirt
bikes galore if they did. Its better not to let them on the beach.
Those sand dunes are super protected.

Got the seat bracket on and its about all that is left
to weld. Will finish grinding the welds and it will be ready
to paint. Hopefully. May have to rent a crane to hold it up
while I spray it.

I'm already wondering if this 6.5 motor is going to pull this
and your thinking I could move it with my legs. Pretty funny.
I did cancel my membership to the YMCA. Lifting this frame
a bunch of times has given me all the workout I need.

Lol my 1979 moped I used to have had such a crazy under drive ratio that it was more work to pedal it than to just push it down the road. That was the heaviest moped iv ever seen too (was all I could do to get it up the 4 stairs to the porch at my old place.

My brother in law rides the one I built to work with the
motor and then pedals home for the exercise. I think he
has lost his mind. I thought the pedals were in case it
quit or something, not to actually ride it like a bike. Guess
everybody has different ideas about exercise.

I told him to save his money and I would sell him this.
He could ride it to work and not have to worry about those
pesky streets. Ride across fields and peoples yards. He could
probably save some time on finding a straighter route.

Lol that's funny.
My clutch went out 5 miles from home so I tried to peddle but after a few blocks I gave up and pushed it home.

Well if the 6.5 hp motor is too weak find a junked out snowmobile with a 440 and upgrade your brakes and it could be fun, I had one on a go cart and it was a blast.

Got my Fab friend to snap me off a piece of 1/8'' plate
for my motor mount. Till I see where the Torq A Verter
lines up, won't really know where the motor sits.
