Surly announces 26x3.8 tires!

They are now making a bike with 4" rims and 4.7" tires! And a new 3.8" semi-slick called "Black Floyd."

Those bikes, rims, tires, and wide cranksets look AMAZING, but there's not a part or piece on that page that costs less than the ENTIRE bike I just built with wide tires on it.

The only way I can have something like any of those bikes is if I won one of them, anyone know of any giveaways?

Agreed... I think their rims are over priced (though I bought a LHT frame, and I'm kinda miffed they just released a disk version)

You have to admit though, the 3.8" brick slick looks incredible... :shock:

im eventually going to have to pop on one of those 3.8 black floyds! im pretty sure it will fit on the back of my evans hot rod. the rear chain stays are a little over 4" wide.
