One of my work colleagues had a fixie by this brand and it did have fat tyres, but nothing like these!

I live in va . beach lots of them on boardwalk and occasionally you will see someone riding the beach on harder packed sand . Sun bikes also has one . Its less expensive . Cruiser with kick back 2 speed . Sun Bikes model Spider A/T

I very well could have seen you. I ride at the beach a lot during the summer .I ride a replica penny farthing , had a harley boardwalk racer for a while, Indian boardwalk racer , bmx bikes etc. I also have a lagauna cruiser , I have the black with the gold ukai rims .

I'm building a fat bike. The shop I work at carries the Pugsley, and also 9 ZERO 7.

I picked up a Pug fork and some other bits for cheap and I'm building a Winter commuter.

I had an old Azonic Steelhead frame. With a bit of work in the vise with a steel bar, I had enough room to squeeze the 80mm rims in the frame. A 3" tire should clear fine now.

They are pretty popular here for Winter commuting and riding. I have more pics of my build that I will post tomorrow. I'm fitting the rear tire and running the cables and hydraulic brakes.

I would love to get one of those or even build one but the tires alone are $245 a set :shock: Then $200 EACH for the wheels. To me $645 just for a wheel set is a bit out there. A Surly tire trike would be awesome though.
