Now that it has been suggested twice I should try it, but all I have is a set of twisted apes off my low-rider. I just don't think those are the right look.Have you tried some ape hangers on it. I could picture it that way with the added benefit of a more comfortable ride.

Monark inspired.Interesting rocker design on the fork, never seen one with a dropout before.
Other rims were gloss black, I also don't mind the aluminum lolI am not a big fan of rims matching the frame. I like the contrast of the silver against the blue.
The silver rims show off the thick slick tires better, and look good with the leaf springs and chain....So the rims I had powdercoated black ended up not working with the bike or the tire I wanted to use. So i switched to these. Trying to decide if I should powder coat these or leave them....
I concur!I am not a big fan of rims matching the frame. I like the contrast of the silver against the blue.
