Up to now, Sweet Marie had led a quiet life. She hadn't been out there in a few decades, and wanted a taste of the night life. She didn't know where to start, but the bartender said he knew exactly what she needed. He gave her a couple of shots from the blue bottle, followed by a tall glass of the white and black bottle.
She liked the way she could feel it all the way down to her toes.

U stands for Union. They produce pedals, lights and other parts. You can find parts from this company on almost every German bike.

Sweet Marie wondered sometimes if she would be able to accomplish the goals she had set for herself in this lifetime. Sometimes it felt like the entire world was moving along while she stood still.

Life altering change can be a long process, where progress is incremental, with painful setbacks.
Sometimes it felt like the world was conspiring to tear her down to bits.
Sweet Marie was learning to ignore the pain and accept small rewards she was given from accomplishing the baby steps. She'd build herself back up, and be better than ever before!
