My other build is almost finished, and as an old video with my daughter and I riding my two swing bikes( Reflections of a faded swinger build) before I punted one just came up in my FB memories..

Another swing bike has been on my mind, and an old frame magically appeared for $145 shipped!
I gotta get to my other to figure out how tall its bars should be.

Yep, $145 shipped, what a deal!
Searched my stash, and found a drilled chain guard ,similar chainring and a 2.25 on a black rim. I measured the bars on the blue one, (they are about 13" high by 29", so perhaps 15"s to be similar yet comfier!

Scooped up a 16" wheel tire and tube at the local bike church..just awaiting the frame to get started!

I'm not sure, altho I do love the OG bright orange, but already have a stock-ish beater..

Thanks, there's more rust than orange, and I kind of dig the green that's there. A month to go is no real time to get overly creative, so I'm gonna get it usable first, then see. I appreciate the support!
Well some news, the bars and seat from basement beauty look great on there, and as that bike is super uncomfortable, maybe those parts will live on on this...
Sadly my laid back seat post won't fit, thus I had to buy the swing bike seat post for $75..
