just tried it without the spring and it wasn't as bad as I thought by a long shot. must be just used to riding it.

Ape hangers and a Banana Seat might help. I have an original Swing Bike and its hard to control compared to mine with totally different Geometry.

I think some ape hangers would def help in the mono department. the seat seems fine though.

ok, so just went for another ride. dang it. those pedals are just too low. gonna have to to raise them somehow. not looking forward to unpicking all my welding.

Great looking fun, these kind of bikes. I definitely want one!
Maybe you could just mount some shorter cranks to get your pedals off the street
