Sxhwinn for my Dad done

Started to rebuild this 1957 Schwinn American for my Dad today didn't get a picture of it tore apart, After striping it down I took the frame, fork, fenders, and chaingaurd over to be powder coated a nice glossy black now I have to wait to receive them back but in the mean time I'm going to order new decals for it and polish and clean all the parts I can

Dad decided he would rather put corvette decals on it instead of the american ones and now we just have to get all new hardware for it and he's trying to decide what wheels/tires to go with

I think he has decided to go back with the s-7 and do the wheels black hoops red spokes and black hubs

here is the progress so far decided to go back with the chrome S-7s also decided to throw a springer on I need to find some of my missing pieces for it still but its getting there

Awesome!, a suggestion though. Chrome rims and spokes? Or have the rims be a flat/semi gloss white. Also, where did you get the decals from?

Personally I would go chrome rims and spokes, white never translates well on wheels in my opinion. Nice looking bike!

Finally got it pretty much done other than I ordered a tank for it today, It definitely is a lot better to ride now and he really likes it now to build a matching girls version for my mom
