WELL LET ME EXPLAIN.

I was going to sell this bike, I had it listed on here even, then after seeing it in my garage everyday over and over and over again I just couldnt part with it. It is now known as "orange krush" Ive been wanting a orange bike for some time now and Im turing this goodyear hi-way patrol into my orange krush. :)

Day 1:

Tore the bike down and stripped as much of the paint off as I could:

After the first round of paint stripper and scraping I cleaned it off and put more stripper on it to get an extra "coat off":

The second time around with the stripper didnt do much, so now its onto sanding by hand, I did do some sanding on it as well, I would say im about 80% done with the sanding, heres some pictures after I sanded it, BTW I think the original color may have been black or orange?

For the most part even though not all the paint is off, its as flat and smooth as flat and smooth can be. Yes I did leave the head badge on it during this process, it had been painted over at one point in its life and never taken off, I got all the paint off it but the colors were ruined. My plan is to get a vinyl "sticker" made that I can place over the head badge once the bike is completed.

I will be working on it more tomorrow. Any and all comments/ideas are greatly appreciated!!! More pictures to come.

THEN I PRIMED IT AND PAINTED IT ORANGE(THE COLOR I WANTED FOR THIS PROJECT)

AND I HATED IT WITH A PASSION. AND WHILE IT WAS HANGIN IT FEEL. SO I HAD TO REBLAST IT AND PRIMER IT AGAIN. BUT I USED THE REST OF THE ORANGE PAINT AS MY "BASE COAT" THIS IS NOW WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE...
