She just sits side-saddle on the top tube. I have to pedal bow-legged but it works.

She does love it. I needed to take something down the street to the mailbox the other day, and she asked if she could ride on the bike again. She screams the whole way that she's going to die, but it's like riding a roller coaster, you have to scream, it's part of the fun

That's why I don't paint my JC Higgins.The original paint is worn on the top tube where they used to ride someone on it, and it's also worn on the chainguard they used as a footrest.
