Tandem For Tandem Night

Not much of a build. Yesterday I retrieved this frame from storage and built it up for our club's 4th Tandem Night which is this Thursday. It's set up with 26x1.75 wheels, single speed coaster brake.Two years ago I built it up for the same occasion. We really don't have the space to leave it ride-able year round. We very seldom ride the other tandem we have that is ride-able.

Here was the bike when I purchased it a few years ago.

Love this bike.
The only (inexpensive) tandems around here are Schwinn twins and the like, yours looks like a English make with a much better frame.

Thanks. I too am assuming it's English.
Maybe someday I can do it up proper.

Couple years ago I built it up like this but only for a day.

looks great - like those classic frames!
my wife and me also love to ride our tandem. i only dont trust the parts... how many miles do you dare to drive with those wheels? our original single speed rear hub broke after 50 km :shock: cheap crap
