Almost finished with the 38 Flyer . I was just about to ask a friend which pedals I should use and I couldn't find my wrench. I grabbed two more sets out of the garage and I think the cat made up my mind for me .

Not really sure what it is though. I have a lot of miss matched parts here. Including an entire Schwinn razor type front end

Finally riding this one I will get some better pictures of it today. I got caught up planning a trip to the swap meet in Biloxi with the neighbors and forgot I had a camera until dark. I could use a Dayton Huffman chain guard if someone has one hiding under the bench

Not sure how many bikes I was up against but another trophy with Rat Rod on it makes me glad I went back for this one

Does anyone know who this is in this picture. I am doing this to a tandem. But I want to ask about weight and balance on a ride. Looks like a fair amount of weight on here. Is lower better. How was the ride? Please help.
i never thought of that... it would make an awesome touring bike!

Does anyone have any pictures of a rear steering tandem? Like Carl is talking about, Or are you talking about sitting in the back with long bars up to the front forks?
If I was going to build a tandem from two bikes, I would definitely try to use rear steering. Just seems like it would be a lot of fun riding solo from the back.

Carl.
