Tank insert

Im doing a tank insert on my sons skiptooth bike but undecided on how to attach it to the bike without damaging the frame or having it over power the rest of the bike.
Heres the insert resting on the bike frame.

Or leather shoe laces work too, I have two plates on mine but same concept.

I bet you even cut thi strips of 3M tape and lay those on the frame. Then pinch your insert onto the tape.

Thought about doing something like that with para cord but liking the idea of some leather straps holding it in place but with out buckles just 4 little pieces wrapped around the frame
