Tell me about this Phantom

Being not a Schwinn expert, and certainly not a Phantom expert, tell me about this bike. It doesn't look "right" to me.

I'm no Schwinn expert either , but other than the seat , and possibly the grips , it looks good to me . The fenders should be chrome , but they look to be the right type , possibly painted over by a previous owner .

Ah yes, I think the black fenders are what was throwing me off.

I think the fenders look to me to be pretty obviously spray painted over chrome, and not all that evenly. Could be they were getting rusty, or some kid just wanted to change it. But it looks to be all there, save for the head & tail light lenses. I wish I could say the same thing for my Phantom...
