It's a roadster. Springer front end pulls to the right like a car out of alignment. Been working on cleaning, straightening it out and adding some Fat Franks. Springer is still jacked.

After a partial disassembly and straightening of a couple obvious parts. The springer front end still pulls to the right pretty hard. Next step is to disasemble completely and compare/inspect each part with the other springers I have. Then straighten or swap out as needed. I was thinking a gloss black triple tree fork would work well on this bike when I first saw it. Parts is parts...

I think you win the longest 4 bike collection. Nice stuff man, I dont get to see bikes like that very often.

Yeah, sometimes those things will only go straight if the parts are on one way because the pivot isn't perfectly perpendicular. If they are whack try flipping them to opposite sides of the crown/pivot if you catch my drift.

I swapped the cups to the top, it seems to compress better. It was snapping out and back in when compressed past the bushing. I've seen the cups on both sides of similar springers. Fork arrived with the cups on the bottom. Seems to opporate smoother on the compression side. Thoughts on correct placement?

When I purchased this bike the previous owner said he thought it was hard to peddle. He installed a smaller front sprocket. Gave me the original 46t srocket with the bike. I thought to myself, I have two other roadster frames and they not hard to peddle. I reinstalled the original sprocket and replaced the bearings. Rode nice for about 3 days then hard'ish to peddle again. So I performed a euro conversion and a new 3 piece.

It turns real nice now. An absolute pleasure to ride. So, on the way home last night I stopped at the LBS and picked up an ape. How fun is that!

I have the same fork and had to do some diddling to keep it from popping out, as you say. I think that is a excellent way to cure it as long as it works :D
