Anyone ever heard of a bike called a "JE Austria"? - tag says made in Austria.
Its a 60 or 70s steel , welded frame 10 speed. It was handly and i like the 27 inch wheels.

Doesn't look like anything special. Just don't see anything on the net about the brand on the net.
- shimano hubs, and 10 speed components, 27 inch chrome wheels, Mann neck, manhiem levers, some german pedals with a 'U' in the crest, and what look like Dia-comp centerpulls with a 19/66 stamped on the main body.

My plan is a sano single speed (with a freewheel and brakes). with a repaint with a leather seat on a layback post and some leather accessories.

anyone know if that stamp "19/66" on the brake be a hint at the age of the bike?
