Glad you guys enjoy the story and pic's,here are a few more-in this one i'm loading and sorting parts from another barn the old man rented on the same farm,this one had bikes,parts and other non-bike stuff

I pulled this Peugeot out of the second dumpster and what was underneath it? :shock: another Peugeot roadbike,and under that :shock: a Trek roadbike,and beside that,a Bridgestone roadbike,then a layer of scrap and more bikes under that which i coudn't get to :cry:

Obsessive compulsive disorder! Now you can sell a few parts, pay for your hobby. Your hobby should be free from here on out. 8) Gary
 
If you got all the bikes and parts, I think you can retire. So now pack up the parts and send them my way.... :D :D :D Incredible find. How many bikes do you think there was there?
 
I think i have to agree with Gary-obbsesive compulsive!The big score wasn't as sweet as it may appear,because of the manner in which everything was stored and all the water leaks in the barns a lot of stuff rusted away or was damaged in other ways.It seems the better stuff was already in the dumpster and the best stuff probably ended up in the first dumpster which i missed.I still managed to score some decent bikes,frames and parts but that was a little over a year ago now and most of those item's have long been sold from having bicycle/parts garage sales out of my shop,nothing to retire from but still made decent coin on some item's,considering i had to purchase the item's,my time and labour,fuel and wear/tear on my van it was no gold mine but i'm glad i could rescue some stuff before it hit the scrap yard!
