Here's an easy way to add a little chrome to the rearView attachment 105855
Had to change seats. With me on it, the springs bottom out on bumps. Figured I better get a different seat before something broke.
New seat with "retro vintage styling" but no chrome. Found some old chrome springs and decided to make a swap. Also added a shiny aluminum cross member on which to mount my great grandpa's wrench and some reflectors.

That's nice. I'd wager that a few people here learned to wrench from their pappy or grand-pappy. Or great grand pappy! My dad and grandfather were both mechanics, and grandpa, being from the Netherlands, loved his bike! Don't think he ever built a rat, except for his K Car. That baby had leopard print seats!

Making the best of Corona stay at home orders, I built a headlight for the Haybailer. I started with one of the auxiliary lights I had on my car. They were originally motorcycle driving lights. I thought the shape was cool.
Once again I resorted to using a small flashlight. Man, I gotta get out of that rut! LOL
Also trying my hand at more faux-tina painting too on this headlight.
