Sunday afternoon chopper build, Complete! I stumbled across someone who had a Schwinn chopper bike and a few other rusted junkers sitting in there front yard with "Free" on a sign in front of them a few weekends back. The bike was hammered and flat black spray bomb was all over it. I knew I could used them forks, so I snatched it up. The forks were completely painted black with rust underneath of that, I chemical stripped them then took a DAsander and sanded them entirely with some 80 grit giving them a brushed aluminum look. Then I drug out the old Ocean Pacific frame and a pair of Redline Monster cranks and a Redline Flight sprocket and went to building. I clear coated the forks after sanding them and repainted the black mounts for the bars and such, heres what I came up with, reminds me of a Duese, low and long. Bike rides great and is a blast to ride,...

Thanks fellas, I would really like to have a 24" set of Felt thick bricks on wider rims, that would be sweet.

Thanks, these have to be the heaviest forks ever, it rides great with them, aluminum frame helps offset the fork weight, I think it will make a cool rider. 8)
