I went to the local St. Vincent bike sale. If you don't get there when the doors open, it's usually a complete bust. Today I was one of the first in line! At 8:55 I was standing in 35 degree pouring rain, sipping coffee with 20 or so other Madison bike junkies.
After several sales, this is the only bike I have ever bought at St. V's! I have been enamored with this color lately. The pics make it look 100 times worse than it is. It is mostly just dirt.
I pass a similar Viking bike on the way to work every day. The tank is complete, right down to the lens. Just needs a little cleaning up and possibly a new seat. It has a Carlisle whitewall, but it's split. I'll see if I can sew it up to use on a super ratty build.
