THE HAWTHORNE RETURNS

[Rat Rod]

About 4 years ago I sold off a Hawthorne that I had to a friend of mine and it was one of those bikes I always wished I would have kept.

In my mind it encapsulated what a Rat Rod bike was all about. My friend emailed me last week and said that he was selling off some of his bikes for a project he was working on and wondered if I was interested. Fortunately the Hawthorne was one he was willing to part with so we met up yesterday and it's now back in my collection.
