I like the speedholes and the color your doing.
Ok, looks acceptable now. Another can of paint covered well, and clear coat improved the shine.
In next couple days I’ll paint a graphic on the guard.

Ditto ^ ! What color / brand rattle can is that? And I couldn't help but notice we use the same stand for our paint 'booth'....

Good 'ol late 1980's Park Tool consumer stand! Got mine for my birthday in 1988.
I like this, it looks like it's going fast while sitting still. Not bad at all for a half-hearted effort!Assembly day:
I wanted the stem to fit flush with the head set. Did you know a WWII era table saw will cut aluminum?
Took a couple attempts with old silverware to make a coaster brake bracket that lined up properly.
Been a week since I painted frame and still the rag in the bike stand stuck to it. Ugh.
Fixed the paint then fitted red sparkle grips. Didn’t like them and switched to black.
If anyone wants these red grips I’ll sell them for $8 shipped as “take-offs”. Let me know.
So here it is just about completed (no front brake)
It’s not that great. Kind of a half-hearted effort.
So since I’m not that impressed with it, I figured I’d fit a front brake. Who doesn’t want more brakes right?
Nothing to see here. Carry on.
