I've been looking into this, it seems like they can handle about 120 lb rider. Above that, you're truing rims frequently

just like road bike rims . they will be fine for high speed street action. but off road or say bmx racing. at my weight is busing there limits.

Roger, I was looking into this for a track bike. I was wondering about the skinnies I see the kids racing. It surprised me that they were using pizza cutters in the dirt

bought the tires and tubs from same bike shop. but. they decided to ship them separate. so tubes showed up today but no tires

I am not paying $180.00 for DOWNTUBE INDEX/FRICTION SHIFTERS. sure maybe if they were Shimano Durace or Campanula Record and NOS. but not used beat to like stuff dogs leave on my lawn. Saches , suntour, Shimano via. IE used department store bike pull off model shifters.

tires still not here but levers close to were I think ? I want them. put on some used pedals I had around. need brakes, cables, chain and bar tape, seat post and seat. yup still lots to do
it's like Goldie Locks up in my work shop. this seat post is to fat, this seat post is to slim. nobody in my stash box is just wright.

I think I may have a set of 7-speed indexed Shimano frame-mount downtube shifters. I can get back to you if you are interested in acquiring them on the cheap.

What is the Inside Diameter of your seat tube? I have 3-4 Laprade style (integrated clamp) seat posts, if I habe the right size I'd send it.

did some quick paint work. before mounting wheels. will help tie in the black and blue bar tape and dark gray Shimano 600 Tri Color parts

brakes will need some love but are all there. got them for a fair price. do to needing clean up.

Both, do a Harlequin Wrap.

I've done a Harlequin wrap with cloth but I'm thinking the foam wrap wouldn't work too well when you try to do the half twist... Also I have a very similar blue/black wrap on the way for my Planet X build, probably would look good on the Blue Bur as well.
