Hello fellow ratters! I just wanted to share this beauty I saw at the neighborhood shop where I get my bikes tuned up. It's owned by a little boy accompanied by his father. The last time I saw one of these motocross styled bikes was way back in the 80's so I was so stoked to see one that day. I went to checkout the head badge, and it was a Patria!

Not much info from this Philippine manufacturer but the older folks I spoke with said the company ran from the 1940's to the mid-80's. I tried to offer the dad 3x it's worth but he said he'll think about it. I gave him my card and I am still waiting for his call. My bike mechanic even tried to persuade him, hahaha. Maybe I shouldn't have shown him how excited I was :-D
Anyway, even if I don't get the bike at least I will be happy to know that his boy is going to ride the hell out of it.
Everything seems to be original except for the hand-brushed paint job. Still keeping my fingers crossed
