Pipes are test fitted this morning with dogs help. Up or down, probably down as this monster takes up a lot of space. May live outside under a tarp?

I still like pipes up, but being outside down is probably best.

I may have to park both of mine outside too, I'd really like to get my car in the garage this winter.

It's been awhile, probably my longest 'between build posts' for me in over 2 years of continuous builds.

Couple of decisions in tge past few days. I heard @MazdaFlyer say he was going back to his original ratty wheel set. That pushed me over the edge and helped me to decide to stay with what I got. The wheels are solid, so I don't have to worry about pumping them up before I use them. And, they are my favorite color.....

My ATV is up north so I don't know for sure, but I'm pretty sure the tongue / pin hitch will be the right height for towing.

I might add some more graphics or a doodad or two, but no inspiration as of right now.

Planning a trip north for closing up camp and moving some wood in the next 3 weeks or so. Has to be complete before then.

Wild idea day...cheap torsion bars. Turnbuckles and eye bolts.

I'm out.
Life is far to precious to worry about scrap metal.

Good luck to all of you.

In cleaning my catch-all space for paper stuff and mail I ran across a pad with my initial plan sketches. I don’t believe I’ve ever posted it...it’s rough but somewhat close to result. It’s under a tarp today as we have rain. Still plan to hook up lights, secure pipes and add a shifter. A couple of months left, might tweak or add other details.

Slow progress, but still some progress for us. The "bulkhead" we're fabbing up is some plate and an old bracket to attach the pull handle to the front of the tub. We punched some holes last night and sheared the edge of the plate. Need to strip the white paint off, cut a couple of tabs, and do some welding.

Did some internal wiring and added a battery pack and switch for lights. I had a shifter knob left over from a bike build, need a little longer shaft.

The Royce Union headlamps were left over from a bike build. I had converted them to LED using cheap 4.5 volt flashlights.

Let's see another one ,,
start building !:forum:
Right on ! Between the bikes , the trucks and everything else I see why 3 months was given . But I can usually get it done in about a week or two once all mocked up that's not including my powder coat guy . I've a couple wagon tubs and a couple pedal car shell just figuring which one to do . I'm running out of places to store this stuff
