Sadly this is to often the case and not just on Facebook. I have also left forums because of this.
I think it's envy. Envy of other people's abilities and ideas. It's usually people who don't achieve anything special themselves who hate in forums or make things look bad.

That is why I openly enjoy to post my learning journey on RRB.

So @MattiThundrrr how about you bring that frame over Friday afternoon and we'll some parts in it.
I'm looking forward to that. Parts pile looks great to me!

Almost got away with a DX bottom bracket too, but didn't have the pin wrench to tighten it up

We had a great time, more laughs and missing tools than actual productivity, but that's how it is when you have a hyperactive child involved. We achieved the main objectives, got the old BB out, the fork mounted, and the rear hub all set and greased. I've got a rolling chassis to hang parts from now

I actually got to stand over it and grab the bars for the first time. It's gonna fit without much seat post showing, that long silver one with the sofa cushion saddle was just for the stand to clamp
